It was a beautiful calm morning at the reservoir.We met at 9:30am. Four visitors plus 7 club members made a total of 11 paddlers. We briefed the course and the basic safety directions. Bob lead the way into the quarry then headed clockwise around the lake. Joan was struggling with sore hands so Carol assisted her back to the trailer. Black swans & ducks were scattered especially in the reserved area of the lake. Shortly afterwards we all made our way into the enclosed inlet. Plenty of water weed reached to the surface. Some photos were taken & Bob helped to take Elaine back as she was feeling uncomfortable. We continued around the lake passed the dam wall and back to where we started. Refreshments were taken in the picnic area & everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks to all who helped. Dennis
