It was an all boys paddle today. We welcomed Richard back from his trip to Queensland. Brian & Bob were keen to explore the Patterson river for a change from our creek. We quickly launched and headed towards the mouth of the river. ACoast Guard boat ventured out across the bar and was tossed about dramatically. We then paddled river alongside the Dragonflies boat out for their morning exercise. We entered the inlet beside the boat storage building. It was calm and interesting to see the boats & units along the waterways. After covering 3 miles we returned feeling invigorated. Mid-week paddles & away trips were discussed.
