We travelled in 4 cars to Lysterfield Park on a beautiful calm, sunny Autumn day. Kayaks were quickly unloaded and out onto the calm clear waters of the lake. Brian & Peter were a little late in arriving after going to Lilydale lake by mistake. It was good to have Barbara back paddling with us & we welcomed Bob for his first paddle with us. Seven of us paddled around the lake in an anticlockwise direction leaving Tony to set up the cuppa & sandwiches ready for our return. The calm water reflected beautiful patterns across the lake & Dennis took some photos on the Go Pro camera. We travelled some distance up the creek that flows into the lake. There were plenty of water birds around the lake. This was our third time at the lake & it was undoubtedly our finest one. Perfect conditions, good company, lovely sandwiches & good conversations.
