We met at Patterson River at 8.30 on the second Monday of December. Penny, Lyn, Steve, Bob & Dennis were the only paddlers. However we had Joy, Derek, Alison, & Ann joining in the celebrations. It was a beautiful, calm, warm evening as we set off with lights as well as our flashing necklaces. Joy took some interesting photos as we paddled under the McLeod Road bridge. There were plenty of excellent displays as we made our way into each waterway. Lyn had a stomach pain & needed to get out of her kayak. The owner of the property was helpful as we needed to get Derek to drive around and pick Lyn up. Bob towed her kayak back while Steve & Penny stayed with Lyn.
Later we enjoyed a lovely spread and a cuppa. Thanks to all for your support. Dennis
