We met at Patterson River at 8 pm for eats & drinks. It was extremely contested with cars & boat trailers everywhere. Tony was able to park the club trailer near the launching ramp. Martin was welcomed as our newest member. That makes 20 members in our club which is very pleasing. Kayaks were launched and lights put on as we made our way through the sluice gates into the maze of waterways that makes up Patterson Lakes. The light displays were excellent and seeing them in calm conditions with a full moon overhead was beautiful. Penny and Stephen led the way with a planned return by 10:15pm. Several large cruisers passed us as we made our way through the lakes. It was great to have nine paddlers enjoying the Christmas lights. We had food and drinks after packing up.
